  We call in with the dogs, rely on it for loos food drinks & fun . We have joined 5 community groups around the SOBO beach. The nature of the space means it’s comfortable, carefree & relaxed with a variety of covered or sunny options to enjoy. They invest in the space as well, improving it all the time. Any requests are welcomed & they gave me a plaster to put on a grazed knee the other day. I just love the space created by them & the staff. We always take any guests we have to Sobo beach cafe.

  We walk there from our house and have coffees and breakfast, we love the relaxed community feel it has rather than before where it was a upmarket restaurant/cafe that we never used. It puts on great local events and is the hub of Southbourne community. For once council, do something that matters for the community and not something that lines your pockets.

  I walk to this cafe for a pit stop along the promenade and it has helped with my partners health as he had a heart attack last year and he makes it a goal to get there

  It matters because it is one of the only venues left in the area that is family run. They put their heart and soul into it, but you obviously can’t see this. The venue offers a great atmosphere and brings the community together. Something that the BCP is failing to deliver and understand time and time again.
