Essential
The petition form works without cookies. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (a setting called sobo_consent), which stays on your device. Campaign administrators receive a secure session cookie when signing in to the admin area; visitors never receive this.
Spam protection
If enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile may run a short check in the background when you start the petition form to confirm you are a real person. This is provided by Cloudflare and is covered by their privacy policy.
Analytics (optional)
If analytics are switched on for this site, we ask for your permission first. Nothing is loaded unless you press “Accept”.
- Google Analytics 4: helps us understand how many people visit and which parts of the page are used.
- Meta Pixel: helps us understand how the campaign is reaching people on Facebook and Instagram.
We record events such as page views, starting the form, signing, sharing and clicking councillor emails. We never send your name, email address or other personal details to these services.
Changing your mind
Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer (shown when analytics are enabled) to change your choice at any time. You can also block cookies in your browser at any time.
