  It’s a great community hub, where we all meet neighbours and friends. We love it so much we meet our neighbours there on Xmas Day morning! I love the fact it’s more than just a bar - the on beach yoga is great. To treat this as just a business is wrong, it’s so much more than that and the community views should be taken into consideration. For BCP to ignore residents’ views AGAIN would be a travesty.

  I am an open water swimmer, based in Cornwall. However I have visited and swam here. It’s hard to describe how important for mental health open swimming is, but also this is clearly a dynamic and vibrant location. It would be a travesty if it could continue, and I can’t really see why it would be allowed to continue. It’s an asset .

  I have been visiting Southbourne Beach for 48 years. SOBO is the best thing that has been there. I love the atmosphere, the staff are friendly, polite & always willing to help. It has great community spirit with events for people of all ages. There is something for everyone.

  It is an absolute jewel on the coast. Its a fun design as a bus and shipping container giving us character along the beach front. I really feel proud of where I live when I take visiting friends to sobo. The staff are always super friendly which just adds to the experience.

  I enjoy going here when I visit my daughter who lives in Southbourne or my son and his family who live in Tuckton. It's a great place to go with my grandsons for hot chocolate, a burger or an ice cream. It has a family friendly atmosphere and some live music too.It's enjoyed by all my family and many others.
