  • It is so friendly and actually makes you feel a welcomed and valued customer! A great and successful LOCAL business ( not some faceless chain) which delivers what the locals want and appreciate. Why can’t the councillors understand this?

  • Sobo is my happy place…. And I live in Ringwood! They’re welcoming, community led, educated on gluten intolerances, they spread positivity. It’s considerate of the environment and affordable for families. . It’s more than just a venue for any old business to lease, it’s people’s happy place. You won’t have thousands of people hitting that car park like you do now, every day, no matter what you put down there. WE LOVE YOU SOBO!

  • One of my favourite memories of my friend Rufus is when he came to visit Bournemouth and we went to a Halloween silent disco at Sobo beach. He’s no longer with us but every time I go and visit, I think of him.

  • One of the few places I can hang out with all my friends as it’s the easiest place for us all to get to. Some of the best memories made at SOBO beach

  • A great place to meetup with our run club & have refreshments after our run, the Sunday Sessions are a great atmosphere & a fun place to be & then there’s all the other events & clubs. Would be such a shame for a restaurant chain to take over the site. We have enough of these, leave some character in our town.

  • Our "go to" when walking the dogs, coffee and breakfast at the most friendly, chilled bar on the beach. Have recommended to so many friends, it is such an asset to the local community, and so well run, just as it is

  • Having holidays at Mudeford annually we cycle to SOBO to a venue that undoubtedly has changed Southborne for the better. Whether wanting a pit stop on our ride for a coffee or a soak up the atmosphere on a Sunday it provides everything. It 100% is the heart beat of the community now, you can only create this with the right team and operator that understands community and the importance of creating a safe, engaging and welcoming hub for all.

  • I have made so many friends at SOBO. The venue matters because it really is a community hub at which all are welcome. Its used by many following a swim or a run or just for a coffee with a good vibe all year round.
