I am local to SOBO beach and I often visit for a coffee/brunch and also in the evenings for a couple of drinks. SOBO beach is a great place for communities to gather - great welcoming atmosphere and is a huge asset to our town!!

It's where we go at the weekend and holidays. We love the non pretentious atmosphere, it's so welcoming to everyone. It great in the winter and summer, there is nothing else like it.

I regularly stop at Sobo and walk along the beach. I choose here because of the safety, security and community that Sobo beach has created. Other areas have become unsafe, even when commercialised with restaurants etc. Sobo beach has created an environment where everyone looks after everyone.

Because it is a valued local community asset and shouldn't be a BCP closed door action .. more to the point, BCP should be addressing anti social behaviour in the area to maintain a safe environment for families, children and local council tax payers

I’ve recently retired and run regularly each week to Manor steps and back then enjoy a coffee at SIBO and they top up my water . “If it’s not broke don’t fix it”

The heart of SoBo a regular spot to meet on our beautiful beach for coffee drinks and ice creams. Kids love it we love it - it is just our beach and it would be awful if we lost this place which is the very heart of our beach community

A lovely place to meet up, have food and or drinks wether with friends, family, on dog walks or with my toddler, the best community spot all year round and the only place that really feels like it is exemplifies the Southbourne (and extending areas) community and culture. My family are there at least once a week and would actively avoid whatever was bought in to replace it out of principle.
