They sell lovely drinks and food on one of the nicest parts of the beach. It would be huge mistake to get rid of it.

It’s near my parents home. They are in their 70’s and go there quite often. It’s lovely for them to get out and about and enjoy the buzz and life it brings to the area. The beach needs more of these pop up bars and eateries. Gets local people out and about to use the sea front and enjoy the coast line,beach. That why people live on the coast right?! It caters and unites all age groups. A reason for visitors to visit the area.

Sobo Beach brings life to Southbourne’s seafront, supports local jobs and gives residents and visitors a welcoming place to spend time. The current operators have built strong local relationships and shown a commitment to local communities that I haven’t seen from the other bidder. They deserve a fair chance to stay and build on what they have created.

We visit from Guildford very frequently as we have family in Christchurch and Southbourne. We love Sobo and always enjoy a drink there when we walk down to the beach. It’s a lovely place.
