I have been using that beach all my life; I am 41 years old and my four children love Sobo Beach, where we always have a great time and meet new people. Let's face it, everything else is gone; if this goes, where do you expect the young people and visitors to go? There is nothing left BCP apart from our gorgeous beach ⛱️

It's my most local beach cafe and serves as a place to meet people all seasons. It has indoor and outdoor seating and food. Constant change is not good for the community - and forcing the closure of a successful business in order to prioritise a more profitable one for the council ignores what local people want.

I have a beach hut close by so it’s been amazing having something like sobo near. It’s been brilliant fun for everyone , all ages, and would be such a shame to see it go. It clearly works and is successful so I don’t see why this is even an option!

I've had many a great day and evening here, my friends travel from London for Sunday sessions and it brings us all together, I've made friends for life at Sobo and would be gutted to see it go

This is an incredible success in making a community and raising the profile of Southbourne. There can be little doubt that it has also increased revenue for other businesses in the area. I love the vibe that exists and believe that it could not be replicated
