I enjoy visiting it and think it is a unique and vibrant addition to our area. You only have to look at Bournemouth town centre to realise these are few and far between and need to be protected.

This is such an amazing place that we quite often travel down from Ascot to visit. This is a great venue and the owners clearly understand their customers. Would be a massive shame if this venue as it currently is goes. Equally if they have to go why cant they stay in the venue until future plans are concrete and that it is not left empty for months on end.

Sobo is the perfect place for families and friends to unwind, connect, and enjoy a welcoming, sociable atmosphere. We definitely need more places like this in our area, as there simply aren’t enough!

SOBO Beach is so much more than a café to me. It’s where I’ve made friends through events, where we meet for book club and where we get together with other families after school and during the holidays. I love how informal and welcoming it is, and the effort they’ve put into bringing people together all year round. It draws us to the beach even in winter, and there’s nothing better for my mental health than being by the sea. It’s a really special part of our community.

I go running in the run club that meets there and have coffee after, I go to school meetups with other parents there, my children enjoy playing on the beach there and listening to the live music, we go running with my kids along the beach and stop there for ice cream. When friends and family visit we always go there. It's a staple part of Bournemouth and Southbourne community spirit. Sea dips and coffee after. Getting out in the local area.

We have nothing on our miles of coastline like Sobo Beach. We make trips to Southbourne beach especially to pop in and grab food and drink. Should not be closed by a stupid council, who do not care about the local community and what the local residents want and need where they live.
