  • Sobo is more than a venue, it’s a community hub. There is no other space like it along the sea front and it deserves to continue serving the community. The old adage of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ is something the council should really be adhering to with their decision.

  • I used to live near SOBO beach but have now moved to Poole. I regularly got coffee, food from SOBO with friends and family combined with a beach walk or swim. I appreciated the charity events it holds including supporting homeless charities. I am conerned about SOBO beach closing over the winter and for a larger scale, more expensive venue with no particular connection with the community. Community is essential and should be valued as much as monatary value.
