It's an amazing part of the community. I've met some amazing people and made friends through events I've attended there. I feel safe, it's a place to escape and loose yourself in tje music, to laugh and have a good time with fabulous people. Plus the location is the most beautiful place, we're lucky to have a coast like we have and they help you make the most of it.

Sobo is a great place to come in the summer and in the winter, great vibe, very friendly. The sobo sessions are great on a Sunday afternoon, bringing in locals and tourists alike. Shame that a few unlikely people are wanting to ruin a lot of people’s fun.

I moved to Bournemouth from Southampton, and Southbourne and SoBo Beach were a major reason I chose to make Bournemouth my home. Since moving here, I have made amazing friends, created memories that I will treasure, brought friends and family to the beach, danced, laughed and, importantly, found somewhere where I feel that I belong. There have also been times when simply being at Southbourne beach and at SoBo Beach has helped me with my mental health.

Such a wonderful place to visit - for lunch, cup of tea or a cocktail. Silent discos, yoga and fun afternoons - such a great vibe and an absolute asset to our community. We should be focussing on businesses that attract people below pension.

Absolute jewel in our area. Used for my own business, a meet up, beach cleans and go there everyday with my dog. I hate to think some homogenised bar will take its place and hope it sinks.

I live in Poole but regularly come across to Southbourne and sobo beach for catch ups with family and friends, for events day and evening. It’s a great social hub for the local community and tourists visiting alike. Please allow sobo beach to continue doing what they do

It is the coolest most welcoming and friendly place. We come here with our dog. We come to dance at Sunday Sessions. It is by far the best thing in Southbourne. We bring our friends and it’s just the best. We do not want to lose this wonderful place

We visit family at Southbourne 3 or 4 times a year, and we always visit SOBO beach and the bus cafe for drinks, snacks and lunches. The bus is a highlight for us and the grand children.

We come down from South West London just to visit this amazing places, and we holiday in Bournemouth because of it too. It’s inclusive, it’s such a huge community hub and it’s fair pricing! We don’t want another overpriced Rockwater offering a strange menu and nothing for children like what’s happened at Branksome, and look at the state of Sandbanks!
