Sobo has always been my happy place. After a run I’d have a coffee, meet a friend if they need a chat, celebrate a birthday etc etc this will be such a loss to this part of the beach.

This is great venue that brings the community together, not only with their own offerings but with events and activities that are hosted there. It has revitalised this area of the seafront and benefited South Bourne as a whole (it has been regularly mentioned in travel guides and national press articles as a major draw to this part of the coastline). I believe it would be deeply shortsighted to let it go.

A fantastic community venue. Great asset to the Southbourne area. Wonderful atmosphere and caters for all generations. The Council should support this and in doing so make a positive future to the wellbeing of this area. Lots of swimming and beach activities - a great community feel.

I have enjoyed holiday afternoon and evenings at Sobo beach, it is obvious there is a great community spirt attached to this place. It will very very sad to see it go!
