  Living in Foxholes Road I am at the beach area several times per week. Sobo Beach gives life to that relatively small area leaving hundreds of meters of quieter beach for those who seek a calmer moment. Loss of this facility would be a huge blow to the community which has grown to truly appreciate the variety which it offers to young, not so young and seniors who can get a cure for lonliness from the many customers winter and summer.

  I cycle to work in burton from Canford cliffs - I stop at Sobo for a coffee and cake. It’s what a beach facility should be, friendly, cheap, accessible and not a giant expensive bar/restaurant like Rockwater. BCP need to act solely on the peoples needs not on how well they have been schmoozed by potential leasee’s lawyers and owners…… we don’t need promises of something that is good - we already have something that is good.

  Having Dj at Sobo Beach and have lived in the Southborne Pokesdown area for many many years Sobo Beach has became an important community hub for countless people, not only the people that live in the area but also people that come along to walk their pets, come to the beach or just taking a leisurely stroll.
