I met up with family here in the summer and thoroughly enjoyed a drink and catch up at SOBO, followed by a sea swim. As a family, we’ve always spent time by the seaside and I feel so lucky that we have this lovely beach just a short drive away.

Community focus and broad multi-generational appeal. A home from home year round that is perfectly aligned with the relaxed and ‘outdoorsy’ vibe of the resident and visiting community. The current operator has devised and delivered the best beachfront hospitality experience along the whole coastline. I have no confidence that the very positive contribution that this venture has brought to the community could be recreated by another operator, and a vacancy on the seafront.

It's a brilliant place to go after walking along the promenade. You can grab a coffee or a glass wine. It's a value to the community. Don't make it another Southbourne crossroads!!!

Because it is a staple to the community people love it and go there every single day without it people won't have anywhere to go or the will be some overpriced restaurants most people won't be able to go to there is nothing wrong with sobo currently and there is no reason it should go away

I cycle there weekly and often get coffee or a bite to eat. I love the community vibe that the current operator has created and the staff are so friendly. Coffee is from a proper machine.
