Most town centers these days have no community spirit with shops closing , high rents and car parking fees and businesses suffering. SoBo has become a great meeting place for all ages and various interests. It's very friendly , fair priced and a great space for young , old and everyone in between. It will be a great loss if it goes.

I never visited Bistro on the beach, its predecessor as it wasn’t welcoming and rarely open. Since Sobo beach arrived, I have used it frequently. It has a lovely community vibe and is always busy throughout the year and reflects the feeling of Southbourne. It is mentioned in numerous newspaper articles as a great advert for the area. It is informal and always fun. We don’t need something like Rockwater as the area is different. This works so well and the loss would be enormous.

I use sobo regularly to get coffee when walking the dogs, when friends come to visit, and every time I need some open space and fresh air which is very often! It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful view and realise how lucky I am to have this place as my ‘local’.
