  • Its one of the most fun events i have been too and brings some excitement for locals. Also since there is almost no night life in bournemouth we need to keep the good things we have in dorset and this is one of the best if not the best destination we have.

  • It's fantastic to visit my mum and take her down to the SOBO beach cafe. The cafe gives a great surfer vibe and being on the beach away from the tourist crowd is great.

  • Love it there, my go to place on my weekly walk for coffee. Please don’t do this, it means so much to the community. It’s not just a location, it’s a vibe and the total of its staff and the people that visit it on a daily basis. Don’t ruin it through greed.

  • SOBO is a vibrant and original beachside offering that offers something different year round to some of the other more typical seafront outlets. It appeals to a huge demographic with the variety of it's offerings e.g. Sunday Sessions. It provides good and interesting food and drink at reasonable prices. It would be a shame to lose that for something if that something turned out to be more bland and expensive even if it returned more money to the public finances.

  • I walk along the beach regularly and sometimes do stop for coffee, but even if I don’t it is great to see others using it and enjoying themselves. Once again I feel the council is letting residents down and “punishing” those trying to develop and community and welcome tourists.

  • The best and most consistent service offering on the beach. A strong food and beverage offer with Interesting events that go far beyond those daily offers. The current owners have brought creativity and community focussed activities that benefit the whole area. They should be held as a shining example to others, not terminated.
