  Bournemouth has been crying out for businesses that bring a positive and vibrant atmosphere to the town for years. We have one such business in SOBO. Not allowing the lease to be renewed would be yet another example of the local governments failure to the community. Save SOBO and help save Bournemouths culture.

  I swim here several times a year, and bring my 90 yr old mother here for a walk, cup of tea and a rest before carrying on. I’ve brought my kids here for lunch and a sundowner many times over the years, I’ve seen a real community vibe which was missing from previous cafe and restaurant The shipping containers are very cool , this has been a massive plus for the area, and have always recommended it to my fellow Londoners when they have been visiting Bournemouth.

  Love the Sobo vibe all year round especially brightens our winter. Hippy feel is whst makes Sobo beach Sobo. I despair that club cafes up and down our stretch of sand are outpricing the locals. I want colloquial cafes and bars not global beach membership clubs. Keep it hippy. So many community events have taken place there for no extra charge. Keep it that way and BCP just create youth oppurtunities further down the beach !

  We use the amazing sobo beach set up regularly and it’s a great friendly place to take the dog or get some food / coffee. It should be kept as is, the container and cool funky design makes it unique and a cool venue for Bournemouth / southborne

  Sobo is such a special venue, I have DJ’d there on a number of occasions and the people, the atmosphere is beautifully independent which is rare nowadays.. we do not need a larger corporate taking over an already successful venue . If the council want to do something positive then focus on the town centre which is broken and not something that isn’t
