Because it supports the local community and employs its wonderful staff all year round. It does not deserve to be taken over by a company with multiple other interests in the town, We should all support local entrepreneurs that put their community first and on the map to improve the town.

A favourite venue when walking along the prom, especially with the family and their 2 dogs, but also a meeting place for our friends. Always vibrant, always friendly, whether it’s just for a coffee or ice cream, or something more substantial. I once left my back pack there by mistake and didn’t realise until I got home. When I went back it had been handed in and kept safe - a measure of the lovely people who visit and work at SOBO. It has such a friendly happy vibe, how can you replace it?

If you go to the beach you go to sobo beach! With friends, alone, with/without kids, with/without dogs! For a drink, for a coffee. There is no other place like it. It is relaxed, fun and we do not want another stuck up establishment. We want community and welcoming!we want sobo beach.

It has been an incredible place for the community to socialise and make meaningful memories. It is a happy chilled and friendly vibe that I feel is hard to come by now in the Bournemouth area so I genuinely think it would be a huge mistake to loose it.

Because I've been going ever since I discovered it 3 years ago, and have made some of the best memories of my life there. I've spent my birthday there, Christmas mornings, catch ups with friends, coffee with family all in this magical venue that brings the community together. Everyone who I speak to says it's one of the best and most special places they have been to. Shutting this venue would be a travesty for the area!!!!
