  • It creates connection across all different types of people, of different ages, life stages, backgrounds. A social hub. I work in the charity sector. The level of isolation reduction and cohesion it achieves is something that councils and charities spend hundreds of thousands of pounds to achieve through progammes built from scratch. Soho Beach has it in spades (buckets and spades?!). Its more environmentally conscious than most, eg with paper cups not plastic. It brings us to Southbourne.

  • It's a fabulous place to go for coffee or drinks when youre on the beach or when you're walking...it's a lovrly stop ofc point. It is very popular and me and my family. It would be a shame to close it down.

  • My parents own a caravan in Mudeford area and SoBo Beach is a place we’re really fond of. We’re down every other weekend and always visit SoBo beach where there’s something for all the family, variety of food, great decor, music and lots of events on. It’s a community and will be incredibly sad to see it go. Keep SoBo beach!!

  • It is an asset to the beach when we go there, there is nothing else around. A beautiful relaxed vibe. Somewhere to get food and refreshment, toilets, listen to music.

  • I use this for safety and community when at my local beaxh with my children. I use it for relaxing and socialising on child free weekends. I have supported fund raising charity events. Yoga on the beach. Its a great place all year round.
