  • It is an amazing local business and meeting point, that should be protected and helped by BCP council, not destroyed by them. Surely the local powers-that-be can see how much SoBo means to so many groups, clubs and individuals and realise they should not be instrumental in seeing it closed. If this is allowed to happen, it will be yet another example of BCP prioritising big business and certain local developers, over the people and communities they are supposed to serve. Wake up BCP council 🙏

  • Sobo beach is the only community space along Southbournes main beachfront that brings together residents, visitors and local groups throughout the year not just during the summer season. The venues community role should be prioritised ahead of commercial gain.
