  We live just down the road now, but have lived in Christchurch my whole life. I visit Sobo every week for coffee, whether it’s with friends, family, to walk the dog or to take my toddler. My family and I all love it and would be extremely upset to see it go. There’s nothing else on the stretch of Bournemouth beach like it!

  It's a community venue not a tourist venue. It's busy when the seasons are nice or nasty. And it sells the best bacon butty on the south coast. Locals matter.

  I stop there for a coffee, beer or a snack, listen to the music but also to chat to people. The staff are brilliant and the people I meet are special. I feel safe going there alone as a female in my early 60s. It genuinely is a very special meeting place and community. I urge the council to keep the future of SOBO beach with the current owners. Why change something that is not broken?
