We love going for a swim with the kids and having a drink and food afterwards. Always such an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Would be such a shame to get rid of something that works so well for the community

A whole community congregate here. I come here to meet people for a swim, for the moon, for coffee, for connection. It's hugely important for locals and the community. Please don't take it away. There's barely anything for locals but there is this and it's important.

We're not in Southbourne often but when we are SOBO Beach is a must. Such a pleasure to find such funky, vibrant, good value hospitality at the seaside. It adds so much to the town.

I swim here weekly, come with my kids, warm up on the bus and my whole family adore going upstairs on the double decker to look out at the beautiful ocean! This is one of the GEMS of the English coast and I am glad to fight to keep it!

My Fiancé and I and many of our friends love to walk along the beach front and stop off for a drink and some food at SoBo. We love the vibe and the food is great. As a coeliac, there is rarely a place Iove the head to for a chill Sunday stroll and be confident in the food I'll get (if any) but I can always rely on SoBo.

We travel down most weekends to walk our dog or cycle, SOBO is a community, even not being a local we are always given a warm welcome! They have created something very special and needs to stay!

Nice place to chill out, memories of my wedding, always clean and treat customers well. Why would you want to get rid of something so positive and bringing money to the local economy. This is madness!

It's a vibrant, successful venue catering for all parts of the community. This is increasing rare in BCP. It offers social groups a beautiful meeting point,. It is easy to access giving people somewhere to exercise, dance, socialise, share and be creative whilst also buying refreshments on the beach. It is too important to lose.

Sobo beach has brought everyone together into an amazing community , all ages of people enjoying crafts, sport, wellness activities, food, drinks and music etc together. The atmosphere is always caring and supportive. Having lived here for many years I have experienced the previous offerings, and the emptiness when there was nothing there and it would be a huge loss to everyone to return to that.
