  SOBO means so much to the whole BCP community, it's somewhere different, we dont need another harvester or rockwater, and look how that's ended up at sandbanks! We love variety and to be able to go up and down the beach choosing where we want to be according to what we feel like doing! SOBO isn't just for the Southbourne community it's for the whole of the area and people come from much further afield too! Such a vibrant hub and somewhere so different to what is already there! Don't let it go!

  I regularly swim here and/or attend community meet ups. This is my local section of beach and I enjoy seeing people out socialising and enjoying the area. I do not want the plot to be empty or become somewhere that doesn’t serve the community like Sobo does.

  Sobo Beach is a real community meeting place. It organises great events and also regular beach cleans. Many different exercise and craft clubs are run there too. It is a wonderful place that attracts people to it from far and wide. We love to go for walks on the beach and stop for a drink and sometimes a bite to eat. It’s a fabulous well run place and the current operators know what works. They should have the lease and change very little. It doesn’t need a soulless permanent structure there.

  There is no other place like Sobo anywhere local, super great community, yoga, discos and all events they do can't be released. Council do the right thing, keep Sobo. They worked so hard to makes us all residents happy.

  A local place for friend, family our dogs to meet! A very nice place to meet in winter or summer. As a female having a vibrant, busy place open along the sea front makes me feel safe when I walk/job on the beach on my own! It’s important to have spots open for safety!
