  Because i regularly walk down the beach and always stop for a coffee and sometimes something to eat. Lovely friendly staff! There is nothing else open along the seafront in the winter . This place is used by so many people and clubs, please don’t close it!!

  We spend a lot of time here all year round. We love it at sobo. When friends and family come to visit they always want to go to sobo beach. My daughter had her first job there when they first opened and she loved it. What a cool place to have as your job!

  It is a haven for all seasons. For time with family and friends. And they serve gluten free chips which our son who has coeliac loves. SOBO beach is a home away from home. Please don't take this social and friendly space away from us.

  I was born and brought up in Bournemouth and love the beach at Boscombe and Southbourne. Sobo has lifted the area and lifts the spirit whether I’m there by day with the grandchildren or in the evening with friends. Bournemouth has suffered of late so please let the socialisation and success continue. Don’t stifle it.

  It’s a fantastic public space, both for the beautiful beach, but also the facilities on offer there like the bus and bar. It would be a huge shame and loss to the community if this was changed .
