  • SOBO Beach has built the most amazing community. It's really inclusive, they offer something for everyone and I will be truly gutted to see it go. As a single person, to have somewhere like this on my doorstep is a life saver.

  • It’s a credit to the shoreline. An unbelievable loss if it goes.

  • I was brought here by a friend a couple of years ago and absolutely loved the place. Being a woman I felt safe here and it was a place where there were no issues with anti social behaviour. It was like a club or somewhere people could gather with a mutual love of music, food and the sea in a non pretentious relaxed environment. Please don’t let this little gem be closed down it would be a travesty!!

  • I swim with friends every Saturday throughout the whole year and we always have coffee and a pastry and during the bitter February mornings we sit on top deck of bus. It’s been a lifeline for us and so don’t want to lose it.

  • A successful business which employs people year round. Perfect place for a coffee or more. Reasonable prices. Would be missed by local community.

  • Because it’s a place I go to for my mental health and they welcome everyone, I’ve made new friends and they raise a lot of money for the community and have amazing events. This would really affect me if it shuts

  • We walk or cycle past here and get a drink or something to eat. Paddleboard close by. The atmosphere is cool and very enjoyable.

  • I use it daily - it’s so welcoming and such a great vibe for all ages, all week long and all year round. We had our wedding party there, I swim there and regularly meet up with my mum, my kids and my friends - there’s literally no where else like it that brings so much of the community together.

  • It’s unique community vibes matesrbanlot to me. There is nowhere else in Bournemouth like this. I fear any replacement would not offer the same community. We don’t need another generic “wine bar”

  • My family and I are at Sobo at least twice a week. Sunday sessions have been great fun, over the years, brilliant tunes , & what a venue. Fabulous place to meet friends and family for coffee/ drinks... encouraging fresh air, sea dips & a reason to walk, run or ride there; to enjoy the Beautiful scenery , We're so lucky. Please don't take this away

  • I live very close and love to visit with friends and my grandchildren. It is such a lovely relaxing place with real community spirit. They host so many clubs and activities, it's a real asset to the area. Accessible to locals and tourists, always busy

  • It’s for sandy toes and messy wet hair, it’s for visits with grandparents, evening wines with friends and morning coffees for the new mums and dads getting out of the house. It’s for the winter months and the long summer days and it’s for everyone! It’s not shiny and expensive, it’s simple it’s ins wonderfulness and somewhere everyone can go, and somewhere that welcomes everyone,
