I can’t express enough how incredible it is to have such an independent feeling venue who cares so much about its community hosting this space. I feel comfortable here, and meet a groups of women every Friday in the summer every to do pilates. Sobo beach look after us, aren’t just another massive faceless company, and actively work to be a part of the southbourne community. It’s rare to have such a site on a seafront and we really don’t want to see it go

When we are on holiday or visiting friends, it is the place to go. It has lively happy vibes for all ages, has many clubs that meet there and has a great community that supports it, which is two way. It will not be the same without SoBo on the beach even if a new business takes over.

would love to see Sobo Beach be granted the lease. It’s a fantastic spot on a great beach, with lovely food, good music and a welcoming atmosphere. Since taking it on, the team has brought so much life and energy to the area and made it a place people really enjoy spending time. I feel they deserve the opportunity to keep building on what they’ve created and continue bringing so much to our local community.

i’ve been a regular at sunday sessions since the very beginning and absolutely love it there. it’s such a happy, chilled friendly place. I feel so lucky to be able to dance in the sunshine on the beach in such an awesome place. other places along the beach just aren’t as happy or well run or anywhere near as cool. i’ve made lots of new friends there and had my first date with my now fiancé there. We love it! please don’t take it away! xx
