  • Sobo is a great space for us to meet with our daughter who lives locally, for a walk & a coffee. The coffees are quite expensive now & if a new business takes over surely this will just increase the cost & subsequent prices to customers, pushing them away! Please seriously consider this. Not just for locals but for their extended families visiting xx

  • It's a fundamental reason why people visit southbourne beach. It has grown to be a central defining character of southbourne and has put south Bourne back on the map as a trendy place and somewhere with good atmosphere of an evening. Unlike anywhere else in Bournemouth . Very backward move councillors if you haven't got the house to see what this does for the area!

  • It’s a pretty unique haven, full of character, and a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. We breakfast there regularly, and enjoy the the laid-back feel of the whole set-up. Informal and friendly.

  • I’m a regular visitor for coffee after sea swimming and dog walking, it’s a great meeting place for drinks and food with friends while at the beach and I have really enjoyed their silent discos with friends and my kids. It’s a brilliant, fun, family friendly place which is really popular with the local community and visitors alike and it seems crazy that the council would not want it to continue as it is.

  • I visit all year round with my dog...I start at sobo, walk up and over hengistbiry head and finish at sobo. On my own or with friends. It's a fantastic place and I think losing it will be a devastating loss to our community and town.
