We go to Sobo as a family, and also me and my wife go as a couple. We all love it at Sobo beach. It is such an asset to the local area. Also when our friends and family come down from Hertfordshire for a holiday they always want to go to Sobo. We always use the local busses and use other outlets in the local area. It brings locals and tourists together and into the area. Why would any sane person want to get rid of this local asset.

SOBO has become something that makes Bournemouth stand out for the right reasons, whereas BCP and whatever iteration before that, have a long and rich history of making decisions that make Bournemouth stand out for the wrong reasons. I know which I'd rather support.

Closest thing to an adult community location in the area. It’s a real community hub for all kinds of activities & events. Me, I’m unwell & can’t engage in all the physical stuff I’d love to but just getting down & have a cuppa before sunset when possible is a balm

Our children, dogs and family love coming to SOBO. It means so much to us as we have watched our family grow over the years and we want to continue visiting and supporting this area.

This is mine & my multi generational happy place. It is truly, somewhere for everyone. Most importantly it is for the community. Not like the spa pods etc that were previously proposed & failed which were priced far beyond 80% of locals. This is our pre/post dog walk pit stop. Our Sunday session that takes us back to our youth & let's us party with our young adult children. Our date night spot. My autistic family members escape. Never any trouble, just happy people.

Because of the amazing, welcoming, efficient staff who somehow more than cope even when Sobo is so busy over the spring and Summer.excellent for dog walkers who are the only people out on those windy wet days.

Having lived in the area for most of this year I have frequented sobo beach for coffees in the morning and used it as a base for my running. It’s a fantastic little community down there it would be so sad to see it go.

This is THE PLACE for a good time in the local area. Whether it's live djs, beach days or just popping over for a drink. Everybody, young or old, loves this place in my family. It will always be a special place to me.
