SOBO Beach is paradise to me I visit 2 - 3 times per week, where I can Chill out have lunch coffee / tea or a drink, listen to music looking out to our beautiful coastline I can walk or cycle within 20 minutes from where I live in Hengistbury Head. The staff are friendly and polite who go above & beyond to make every one welcome, Save SOBO Beach.

As a bar, restaurant, coffee shop, ice cream parlour, they have hit the nail on the head. This bar sums up Southbourne and everything good about the area, cool and funky, It should be kept at all costs.

We have run our children’s art workshops there for a long time and built such lovely relationships with many people at SOBO in the local community. They staff are lovely and the community spirit it amazing. 🤩

Music bringing people together in a safe space Honest place to enjoy the indoors and the outdoors - so many community groups have made SoBo a place where they can get to enjoy and socialise It’s also very unique style - we love the bus - which works in that space So much better than before

It is the most amazing place....people come from London and afar ....it reminds us all of being on a beautiful coastal resort abroad......it is also quirky has it's own character and has such diversity to appeal to many different type of visitors. I would be so sad and to be honest ashamed if the council choose to close it. They may have a higher tender but if the local area lose the business of all the visitors to SOBO they will not be financially or socially benefiting the area at all

SOBO has given my family and I such happiness and friendship that is truly important in our daily lives. We visit weekly to meet up and enjoy the great choices of food and drinks for our family and grandchildren. Sobo makes this area truly special all year round! We have been coming to Bournemouth for 20 years since before Sobo and it has drastically improved the offering down at our local beach.
