  We have a beach hut just along from SoBo and see how popular it is…not just for its food and drink but for the community it has developed. SoBo supports several community groups and events for all ages which a ‘typical’ beach restaurant wouldn’t, including parent/baby events which my daughter attends. The staff are friendly and I think it would be such a shame to lose SoBo and replace it with a closed in, smart gastro pub with no personality or community vibe. Please think again 🙏

  It’s our favourite place to go as a family in the whole of the BCP area. The council are literally going to run this town to its ruins if they’re are left to run this town as they wish. Could organise a piss up in a brewery which is quite ironic considering their actions.

  This is our go to part of the beach, we love Sobo Beach because it’s rough and ready and relaxed. It’s got a unique vibe that we love. I’m not interested in any high-end swanky places on southbourne beach.

  SoBo really is one of the best businesses BCP could ask for! It’s just so warming to be somewhere that fits in with its environment and community rather than another beach side commercial venture for the few. It’s a special place I love to go every week, especially now with my puppy.

  arts , crafts Yoga, running, dancing, eating , drinking, nature, all thes aspects of positive life SOBO is the core. Why on earth would you disrupt a business that is needed and actually used ! BCP needs more of these successful businesses.

  I’ve been very lucky to play Sobo a few times now and every time I come down to DJ, you can tell it’s a family affair. So many people come down every Sunday afternoon for a boogie. All friendly people just wanting to have a great time. Without this, the culture in BMTHis gone. What the council and government officials forget is that music really is a healer and going out and being social is good for everyone’s health (mentally and physically). Sobo has actually helped me! Sobo is legendary! 🙏❤️

  It is a great commity hub, always busy and friendly. Many groups use it for exercise and wellbeing meet up. It's relaxed atmosphere is great for Southbourne, we don't want a high end expensive restaurant

  As a family we love to walk our dog t that part of the beach and we love stopping off at SOBO beach for a drink. The staff are amazing and the environment is fantastic, why change what we have for the community.
