It’s not just a beach bar, I’ve done silent yoga many times and silent discos, I also love listening to the music when sunbathing , met friends after our walks for hot chocolate wine and cocktails. It’s a total community place and loved by my daughter who is 11 and friends.

Sobo has created a venue that means so many different things to different people. Its somewhere just for a coffee whilst walking along the beach or somewhere to go for good value wholesome food and is an employer in the area. They have made this a unique place and should get the benefit of the hard work they have put into Sobo. It would not be the same if someone else takes it over

Sobo is a place I’ve gone on my own, with a friend, with my family. It is a lovely place.

Community needs to be protected in the devisive and isolating age we live in. I'm a former Bmouth resident and fully support any culture or arts.in the area still.

The current management have gone above and beyond to build a business for the community!!!! Tske thank note BCP it’s one area you don’t have to concentrate, on! Now get on with Bournemouth to encourage tourism to bring some money into the town

I bring my grandchildren to Sobo all through summer. It’s a great place to meet friends all year round.

Everyone in our family uses Sobo, coffee, swimming, chats, dog walking. So fantastic to be able to bring the kids and it be so casual and friendly. The atmosphere and culture they have created is unrivalled and too special and precious to lose. All of the other beach cafes haven’t created the same culture and sense of belonging.

It brings our community together, it’s a place where you can feel like part of something on days when you need lovely people around you. We swim every week here and meet with friends and family there

Sobo is a place I come to with my toddler or my grandma because it is a space that is safe and comfortable for all ages and all seasons. I have been a local resident all my life and when Sobo replaced Bistro I believe it was one of the best things to happen to Southbourne beach. No one wants a stuffy overpriced restaurant. BCP should feel ashamed to take something so loved and respected by the community.

This is a family venue. Something that this council seem to forget with every decision they’re left to make. Honestly embarrassed to say they’re our council these days.

I swim there every week with other veterans which is very important for our mental health.

Sobo Beach is the heart of the community and very much the ‘go to venue’ on our regular visits to see friends in Tuckton. All our family, young and old love it. Has to stay!!!

It has reinvigorated that area of the prom!

SOBO Beach is such a fantastic community venue for literally ALL ages, it would be a complete disaster for the area if it was stopped from continuing. This venue is Southbourne .

S0BO is a unique place, a credit to everyone who has has made it happen over the years - but completely beyond the imagination and capabilities of any Council alone.

A safe social space where we can be with our kids & enjoy our seascape

SOBO Beach is the only venue in the area. It is expensi ve but attractive to the local community. It should not be replaced by a long-term building site.

A critical form of social infrastructure for Southbourne. Wellbeing and connection by a home grown business that keeps it affordable for local people
