  My husband's family is from Southbourne. When we are down, we have a regular meet up with friends on Sunday mornings at Sobo Beach. Some people swim, some just have a chat, a roll and coffee. We do this all year round- it is the highlight of the weekend every time! We will be gutted to see this special place go.

  This a hugely important venue for the community and plays a huge role in supporting the community. The Council needs to look beyond their own self-serving needs for once and look at what benefits the community the most and in the best way. SOBO does that already, no need to fix something that isn’t broken!
