  I enjoy a beach walk all year round and always enjoy a coffee and croissant . My family members enjoy the running club and meeting up with friends there. The community feel, atmosphere at SOBO Beach will be hard and impossible to replicate. Please save SOBO Beach!!

  We have regularly driven down from Winchester throughout the year for the past 30 years. We always stop at Sobo beach since it opened for either a hot chocolate or ice cream (weather dependent) . The atmosphere and staff are always so welcoming and it has made a once quiet stretch of beach into a pleasant hub to stop, take 5 and relax. It will be sorely missed if it was to go. Hoping the right decision is made and it can continue its great work.

  It’s set up by locals, mainly for locals ( and visitors like it). If BCP wants a posher place then build it further along the prom and leave this for the locals. Go through the planning processes but choose the “local” option, it is possible within the rules.
