The atmosphere, sun, winter, rain it is welcoming. Healthy delicious food a cold drink or a hot drink when cold! It is the heartbeat of Sobo. Friends and relationships are better for it

Sobo is a lovely beach bar to relax, socialise and have some drinks by the beach. When I go on dog walks with my family, I always enjoy going to the beach bar to spend time with my family by the beach. I also go there to a women’s social club called Sisters of Stoke, where some of their fun beach events are held. I am concerned about Sobo closing down because it may affect future events I go to with Sisters of Stoke, as the events I attended have boosted my wellbeing.

Sobo is such a special place to me and I always bring family and friends here when they are visiting. Bournemouth would lose a very significant part of its brand without sobo.

I run and walk and swim and cycle here several times a week. The unique and charming character of the area offers something different to the other beachside venues further up this coast. The local public love the venue for its authentic charm - not just because its located at the nearest beach. The public should be consulted about the tender and it should not be decided on based only on predicted revenue. There are some things that you cannot put a price on.

Sobo Beach has literally never let me down. It is the reason I stay hydrated and nourished while I am on the beach. I have brought my family who live all the way in America to visit this beach because the Sobo garlic fries are unmatched and no one could do them better. Whether it is a Friday night and I need a good cocktail on the beach,if I forgot my lunch after hours of sunbathing, or if I need a hot cocoa in the winter because I thought it wasn’t too cold to come to the beach, Sobo is there.

Sobo beach is such a key part of southbourne beach. It brings friends, family, even strangers together. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food service is amazing. I love all the events they throw out in the week to share good vibes, especially in the summer. Please don’t shut this place down it’s such a great place to come to for tourists and locals!

My wife and I use it probably once a month. It is by far the best facility along the whole BCP seafront. That’s a reflection of the team that run it and why they must be allowed to continue their journey.
