🏛️ TODAY, WE TAKE OUR CASE TO THE COUNCIL
Later today, we'll be sharing our official campaign statement, alongside a new letter you can send directly to your local councillors.
Our message is simple:
📢 A FAIR TENDER PROCESS MUST BE FAIR TO THE PUBLIC, NOT SIMPLY TO THE BIDDERS.
The Council says its tender process was fair and legal. But even if the competition was fair to the bidders, was it fair to the community?
Who asked the people of Southbourne what they value, what they want to protect, and what this precious public space should provide for the next 20 years?
We're not asking for special treatment.
We're asking the Council to listen to the community, honour its commitments and give SOBO Beach a fair chance at a future.

And it's about reminding those entrusted with our public spaces that the people who use and love them deserve a voice in their future.
