We pop down most weekends and love all the activities available such as the yoga and sea swim groups where you get a coffee included. It’s a real sense of community spirit and a nice selection of drinks.

Sobo Beach is a community, whether it’s at 8am, enjoying great coffee whilst sat watching the sun rise or enjoying a cocktail as the sun sets . I love watching different groups of beach lovers coming together at Sobo Beach, whether it’s to swim or just enjoy the relaxed vibe that makes Sobo Beach so special. It would be a travesty if Sobo Beach were refused a renewal of the lease…🥺

I came to Bournemouth not knowing anyone and have made great friends through a ladies running club that meets there. It is also a great place to meet for coffee or drinks. Good value and open all year round

A quite unique & very special place. It comes into view i& warms your heart. They organise so many community activities bringing vast crowds together. Watching young & old friends & families meet up there is wonderful. Children running in to buy icecreams & groups having their meals. As a choir, we have had the best times at SOBO, the crowds that were there gave us a great welcome & we’ve performed there again & what a fantastic experience. Don’t take this wonderful place away from us all 🙏

I come down to sobo every weekend of spring and summer for Sunday sessions. I drive a 4 hour round journey to attend. I also come down and stay in the area for autumn and winter with family and dog and will always visit sobo. This unique, much loved community hub has an amazing welcoming atmosphere where not only local people visit but also people like me who will drive miles to come. Replacing it will ruin its charm

I'm always amazed by the diverse groups of people that use this venue. It is a place that I visit regularly, meeting up with friends and family. Such a fantastic resource for local community

Accessible, friendly reasonable priced space catering to such a wide variety of people…dog walkers swimmers, passing tourists, this space has grown so organically closest thing to a Spanish chiringuita. It would be a tragedy to see this changed into an overpriced largely empty restaurant . The operators have done wonders with th8s place ..the Sunday ,sic sessions with a nice early finish are great too

Such a vibrant part of the local scene. I love to eat and drink there when I'm walking the beaches from Hengistbury to Sandbanks, as I do frequently as part of my exercise regime as a fit 70 year old.

These guys have made such an amazing local venue, which is so much more than just a bar. They've created a massive community that BCP will inevitably ruin. Please consider them to continue the lease.
