It’s genuinely one of the only places in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area which still is worth going too. If this gets shut down all that will be left is Bournemouth which will be awful for tourists and the infrastructure. Terrible decision if this goes ahead.

Just moved down to this beautiful place and one of the first places I take my friends and family is SOBO. You feel like you’re abroad as the vibe is amazing. Please keep it open

Although I'm from Birmingham I have family in Bournemouth. Every visit, my first trip is a walk along the beach to Sobo beach - coffee, breakfast, beer, early evening wine. I love it! It's vibrant, sociable and a definite asset to sobo. Must continue!!

It’s a great place to go to and part of community. Sobo beach is known widely due to caffe bar and should stay open.

My best friend lives in Southbourne. I love visiting sobo beach when I visit her. She moved down to sobo without a community and sobo beach gave her one. The place is so warm and full of community and heart. Southbourne has an absolute gem in sobo beach that not only should be considered to extend thier lease while future plans are made but the impact of changing hands on the community really needs to be considered. It is a hub for the people of Southbourne.

We spent so many beach days and evenings at SoBo during the summer holidays and all year round. It has become an amazingly strong community hub, in a world suffering from acute isolation. Please do not attempt to fix what isn't broken, but flourishing.

A relaxed pop-in coffee, watching the beach in the fresh air, a glass of wine with a blanket. We came to the area the same year as SoBo and it helped make us fall in love with the area. We always bring house guests here.

We are frequent visitors to the area all year round and always visit SOBO beach. We absolutely love love the relaxed friendly vibe and it is unique. There is nowhere as relaxed and friendly . We are grandparents and our children and Grandchildren all love it.

Sobo beach cafe is the best place to hang out any time morning, noon , week day or week end , stopping for drink after jogging or just chill out whenever suit my time 🏃♀️ and with those other additional activities is just prefect venue for community hub . Will be devastating to lose it
