I do yoga on the beach and meet friends there too, i’m 23 and there’s not many safe places to meet other women in the local area, especially in such a beautiful location!

My family come here often on our dog walks. When we were new to town this was a place we came to to meet new people and feel part of a community. It is a unique place that will not be easily replicated by alternatives. It will be sorely missed by all if it is not supported.

It's such a gem of a venue that doesn't only attract the older generation but younger too. It's a great spot to have a drink or dance and I love the setup. I would miss it thoroughly 😕

Its a focal point for the sobo community and its a welcoming place to go. The current owners have clearly got a skill set to build something that works when the previous site didn’t. It would be a huge loss if it closed or the new lease holders proved not to have this skillset - given we don’t have transparency of the bidding process we don’t know if this was a consideration.

Love meeting people there from all walks of life a real community feel to sobo beach I implore BCP council to keep it open it’s lifeline to older people who like to meet up for coffee or a drink

I am part of Southbourne Surf Lifesaving, so we train and do events round here often. We often team up with sobo to help throw out events and bring publicity to the club. Sobo brings a positive atmosphere and nobody I've ever met had anything bad to say about it. Not only does it provide food and shelter after a beach day or a swim, it also does silent disco and yoga days. Losing Sobo would be like losing a friend.

I walk my dog here every day and swim here every Saturday with a wonderful group of friends. Sobo has become part of our lives. I love how inclusive it is and how it is a hub for all age groups and activities. There is nowhere else like it.
