We have very few, if any, venues like this in the area, especially that cater for such a varied age group with something for everyone. Such an inclusive community and needed at this time.

I visit here out of season for the brilliant view and excellent coffee at least monthly. The staff are welcoming and all the customers are friendly and approachable. Everyone looks out for each other. This place has become a destination in itself: we held a work social there last summer and everyone was raving about the hospitality and fantastic vibes.

I walk here regularly for a tea or coffee with my wife. We also bbq on the beach regularly during the summer where the atmosphere generated by Sobo Beach makes for a magical holiday vibe!

We come with our dog from Poole to enjoy different events as well as a dog walk and coffee. Love what Sobo have created, good prices, and friendly atmosphere. Some Beach front venues in the Poole and Bournemouth area are not welcoming and seem elitist with their pricing, menu offering and snobby attitudes. Sobo is not like this.

I am married to a veteran he’s blind he’s called tony we meet with the veterans every tue and Thursday at sobo beach we chat we laugh we share out stories memories worries with men and women that put their lives on the line who have served in Afghanistan lost limbs friend killed women too some have ptsd some are blind my husband is one of many blind men in our group sobo beach and venue have given them and us hope kindness and made this available for us to gather and be welcomed we will suffero

My daughter lives in walking distance. I love sobo for the all year round social experience and super dog friendly place. Best beach in England.

It’s always there, whatever the weather - cocktails with friends in summer and coffee or hot chocolate after a winter swim. It’s totally unpretentious, the staff are lovely and you can turn up wearing anything and no one will care.

I bring my children here with their friends, we regularly visit and it would be a great shame to lose sobo beach because the council have their own plans.
