It has been an incredible place for the community to socialise and make meaningful memories. It is a happy chilled and friendly vibe that I feel is hard to come by now in the Bournemouth area so I genuinely think it would be a huge mistake to loose it.

Walk along seafront, pop in and a drink, listen to the music. SOBO Beach is unique such a vital component of the Southbourne place aspect of economic growth and community.

A local beach bar that serves the local community for all to enjoy the beach , exactly what a Beach Bar should be . Not an exclusive membership with a big membership fee .

Because I've been going ever since I discovered it 3 years ago, and have made some of the best memories of my life there. I've spent my birthday there, Christmas mornings, catch ups with friends, coffee with family all in this magical venue that brings the community together. Everyone who I speak to says it's one of the best and most special places they have been to. Shutting this venue would be a travesty for the area!!!!

I go there to do yoga and walks. The place has drastically helped me improve my life in so many ways. I have made friends, become fitter and learned new things. I even take guests there for any occasion.

It's brilliant to have this facility next to the beach. It is always busy, they have a great community spirit, which is so important to the area and supports people. Staff are very friendly.

It is a lovely friendly place to go and enjoy the view and have coffee and food. The local community can use the place for functions etc.

My mother passed away this year - she loved her life in Southbourne & we would always visit SOBO beach when we were with her. After she passed, we went there to sit a while & remember her. The atmosphere is always warm & welcoming. We will continue to revisit & cherish our happy memories - if SOBO Beach is no longer there, it will be a very different & sadder experience.
