I have not been there, but I don’t see why BCP can just ignore locals view and feelings. BCP are elected by the people, so surely they should take in to consideration what the residents want for their area.

We take our young children down there every week & we all love it. It’s so relaxed, the beach vibe is perfect, the children play & we enjoy eating the food from there

We use this all year round and love to pop in when out with our dog. It’s casual and fun and caters to so many in the community. Sobo Beach is such a special place and losing it will be a huge loss to everyone. How was the scoring weighted because this decision can not be the correct one.

I regularly walk along the beach and stop for coffees etc… it also has a fabulous community which is important to the area. They support lots of wellbeing groups so if this was closed for a couple of years due to change in ownership it would be detrimental to the local community.

I live 5 minutes away and use this regularly and it has changed the area. To award this to someone else and have the site empty for months would be devastating.

I walk along the prom most days of the year, having a year round bar to stop at for a swift pint or hot drink to watch the world go by, listen to the sea and meet friends is needed and Sobo beach is fantastic.

I holiday in Southbourne twice a year and visit sobo for great events and to feel part of the community. Their wellness activities are really important to me. There is no place like it.

It's a welcoming space for locals and visitors with a unique atmosphere. Very well run and as a frequent visitor its clearly been well thought out and is exactly what is needed there. It's somewhere I always recommend to friends. Please don't change such a special offering and community.

We love it down there it needs something like this, all the miserable complaining people on the cliff need to wind it in. We need nice places to go too on the coast and enjoy our area
