SOBO is used all year round by people of all ages. It caters to so many different clubs and groups with its relaxing environment. It has become a real hub of Southbourne life!

Only nice place to go on the beach for drinks/food. Really nice vibe and everything nice in Bournemouth is disappearing so this doesn’t suprise me but would be a massive shame to let this one go!!!

I regularly travel from Highcliffe either by car, bus or cycle and Sobo beach is the ideal location to stop fro a drink and or food and enjoy the beach. It has the ideal formula with a laid back approach which is best for a beach bar, and to replace it with another expensive restaurant would be detrimental to the area.

I visit Sobo Beach bus regularly. It is an amazing location and unique venue drawing the local community and tourists together. I have used it for SEND events too

It’s a lovely vibrant cafe, meeting point for myself and our friends. Employs local teens and gave my son his first opportunity of playing live music at the age of 16.

It brings the community together in this amazing location right by the sea all year round,therefore helping the fight against loneliness and bad mental health . A full range of activities are available to all ages. It is important to local residents and to visitors, thus helping the tourist industry of Bournemouth. As the centre of Bournemouth is challenged in this area currently, the success of well established hospitality hubs in the surrounding area is even more important.
