Sobo Beach is a fun, casual expression of beach life and community. We love the way we can walk in there sandy and enjoy the service, food, and drink without it feeling like a pretentious restaurant!

It's such a lovely set up. Chilled and friendly place to go for a coffee and cake after paddle boarding, or a drink after a walk. We go every week at some point and gutted it may be closing.

Welcoming place to come and relax if it’s just for a drink or even nice food. The wellbeing activities are also interesting to attend. Amazing place which makes you feel part of a community.

Changing to a new lease holder is not in the community’s interest- SOBO beach bus provide excellent pricing, vibrancy and it’s a place people plan their day around. I would be curious to know why the lease is being taken from them, and who benefits from that? Are pockets being lined?

I originally lived in Southbourne up until 4 years ago ( 55 years ) all my family lives there and we visit every 6 weeks. We use Sobo beach 🏖️ on every visit.

This fabulous community place us responsible for the regeration of the southbourne crossroads area. This is now a vibrant commjnity. Sobo beach is one of the best places on the planet. It's just simply fabulous. We are very lucky and won't know how lucky until it's gone.

Sobo Beach is a venue where I've had the best experiences, especially at the very popular Sunday Sessions with DJs including Brandon Block, Big T and Lisa Loud. The venue operators, the event promoters and various community groups have put in a lot of effort to make Sobo Beach the community asset it's become. It's important that the community views are listened to.
