SOBO is my coastal sanctuary - a place to feel grounded in this crazy world we live in. Holding a hot cup of coffee on a crisp winter’s day or enjoying a cold cider in the height of summer, it is a place to just be! It is destination place to share the beauty of our coastline with visitors. SOBO isn’t just a business, its a central hub for swimmers, families, groups that brings our community to life. Not renewing its lease would be travesty, please delay your decision to make the right one!

This a hugely important venue for the community and plays a huge role in supporting the community. The Council needs to look beyond their own self-serving needs for once and look at what benefits the community the most and in the best way. SOBO does that already, no need to fix something that isn’t broken!

I love going for coffee with my dog and daughters. We go Xmas day too for a swim. We will miss this family time. I had my 50th birthday party on the bus. It was fantastic.

It’s what Bournemouth needs, it’s proven to work why change! BCP you have ruined & taken away the very heart of Bournemouth ! Just stop!! With internal audit showing your failings, debt & borrowing at astronomical levels & still you bulldoze on destroyed public respect & support. It’s crazy to say that a council has such Narcissistic traits! Give the new tender another area to start afresh, we’ve enough empty prom! Leave sobo beach as it is!

Just a brilliant community with so many people that rely upon it for their betterment of their mental health and bring together of like minded people. BCP needs to see past just monetary value and actually care about its constituents that use the SOBO
