This is my 3rd summer down Sobo and they have fine tuned the experience and what an incredible job they have done, to not recognise all their hard work and take it away from them is very sad. It will never be the same……. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!!! Please stay!!!!!

Community, social and does not limit clientele! Great groups meet there and they hold community events which no restaurant or beach cafe would do like this. They give back to the community and is space for everyone, dog walkers, families, swimmers, lunchers, drinkers, tea and coffee lovers. We want this place to stay!!

Sobo Beach has completely transformed the space into something that genuinely benefits the whole community and welcomes people of all ages. It brings people together, encourages meet-ups for different groups, organises classes and litter picks, and creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. It’s also a fantastic place for dog owners and their dogs to socialise and meet others. I feel that replacing what’s already there with something different risks losing all of this

It’s a great place for coffee or lunch or an evening drink watching the sun go down and is open ALL year round, I even went to my first silent disco here!

In the summer, it’s the only place we want to visit. It’s busy with good atmosphere but not crowded like Bournemouth. Sobo is a summer staple

Such an amazing place to meet friends friendly and welcoming, not just during sunny warm days but also a pleasant area to enjoy an early evening drink with amazing music very uplifting

It’s the best local beach near me and one of my favourite places to go on a walk. I think it’s nicer than all the beaches along the promenade.

I walk my dogs along the beach and love to stop for a coffee or a drink. I work with sen children and bring them here for sessions. My gym meet here and do swims. I come to the evening events here with my friends. My dad is 77 and lives it so much and it’s somewhere he can walk to from house. When we have visitors from Norway we take them there as it’s unlike anything they have. It’s a special place and I wish there was more like it. I don’t trust the council to get the right people in.

I swim down by SOBO meeting friends for coffee or a meal. I like to see families enjoying themselves on the beach , eating and drinking together .
