Is the best place to stay and swim in whole Bournemouth and I love the coffee and time with my friends there after a yoga class. The community is the best so far, nothing to compare to Bournemouth pier, boscombe, or any others.

This is one of the best venues in Southbourne. It has created communities with its rustic indoor /outdoor offering. Ideal to enjoy straight from the beach or a swim . Not something you can do at places like rock water at branksome. Sobo beach is a unique venue offering so much to locals and holistic business offerings i.e. beach yoga. Council, please consider carefully before losing this valuable local hub.

This place is my “ happy place” and great for my mental health. I’ve had a lot going on in the past 8 years including divorce, brain injury, menopause and MANY other issues. SOBO allows me to forget!The Sunday sessions are amazing and brings all races, cultures and ages together and it’s such a lovely happy vibe! It’s a FAMILY! They also do a lot for mental health and homeless. People talk about sobo all over the U.K.!It’s unique!Remember posh and modern doesn’t always mean better!?

I love coming here all year round and there is no where else like this in Bournemouth. We take all our visitors to here and they always love it. We can come for a coffee, some food or just a vibe it always pleases. All our visitors love it!

I walk here every week and the community support there is worth the long walk. It is welcoming and the staff are amazing, We can’t get that community spirit anywhere else. It is such an asset to the community whilst bringing in parking money and visitors to the council area. We have so little left, please don’t make the same mistake by getting rid of this too.

SoBo beach is a regular stop when we visit to walk along the promenade. It’s dog friendly; totally inclusive vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. No other options in that area

Beautiful, lively and vibrant community vibe which is so rare. Brilliant location for music and dancing, well run and loved by many . You don't get quirky places like this anymore. Please don't take something like this away, especially to replace with another soulless hospitality venue.

It is a relaxed and welcoming venue and attracts a lovely clientele. What I love most is how it is appealing to both young and old people alike, it is dog friendly and just has a great vibe which unfortunately other venues like urban Beach at Boscombe cannot replicate .

The owners of Sobo have worked so hard to create something different for the community. It’s become an area of the beach where friends and families of all ages and generations can come together to spend time and connect. Most importantly it’s somewhere where people feel safe to bring their families. BCP council have destroyed Bournemouth town centre, please dont do the same to Southbourne. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it “….

As a regular visitor to Christchurch, SOBO Beach is a go to for a coffee on a morning walk, and has transformed the area into one of the best seaside spots on the south coast.

SOBO Beach is paradise to me I visit 2 - 3 times per week, where I can Chill out have lunch coffee / tea or a drink, listen to music looking out to our beautiful coastline I can walk or cycle within 20 minutes from where I live in Hengistbury Head. The staff are friendly and polite who go above & beyond to make every one welcome, Save SOBO Beach.

As a bar, restaurant, coffee shop, ice cream parlour, they have hit the nail on the head. This bar sums up Southbourne and everything good about the area, cool and funky, It should be kept at all costs.

We have run our children’s art workshops there for a long time and built such lovely relationships with many people at SOBO in the local community. They staff are lovely and the community spirit it amazing. 🤩
