A welcoming, community-focused venue that serves the local community. Also very well designed and serves as a tourist winner. As seen in many national press articles over the past couple of years. This site is also run by experienced local operators. They have already proven they can maintain service through the winter months. Don’t be stupid, BCP. A few extra £ of rent won’t make a difference to your horrendously mismanaged budget/operation!

I visit sobo with family every week - it brings a safe space where all people can enjoy the clean, friendly section of the beach. The SOBO site offers family friendly activities and makes good use of the beach.

It is the beating heart of a community .. no amount of funding into Council pockets can re create what we as residents … and our visitors, have here . In a town stripped of identity this gives us a sense of place and belonging .

It's not a run for tourists, maximising profits so the council can take a bigger cut. This place runs from the heart, something the council cannot quantify or understand. Keep this place alive.

SOBO- the hearth of Southbourne beach. Place where we can go even for a coffe and we are always welcoming with a nuce smile from the staffs. The transformation they have done and the atmosphere that they brings are unique. Is not so many places on the beach that brings a safe and joyful environment. They must stay!! We love Sobo ❤️

i come here most days before and after work to rest, relax & also enjoy the brilliant food and drinks they serve here! i also think it has built a great community, especially on weekends when they have events on everyone comes together. sobo is also a great place to show family who come together visit how wonderful down south is & also a great place to meet up with friends to have a catch up. #savesobobeach
