SOBO Beach is such a unique and relaxed venue that perfectly captures the spirit of Southbourne Beach. More than just a café and bar, it’s a cornerstone of the local community, bringing people together and giving an essential space for so many residents. Our visiting friends were blown away by its atmosphere, and nothing else could replicate what SOBO brings to our area. Please save this special place!

It is a very special place to connect with groups and nature. It is one with the beach and respects the environment. My son was struggling and a men’s walking group who meet at SOBO really helped him. It helps provide a safe, community and family feel to the beach, welcoming everyone.

We come to Southbourne several times a year and the beach and the facilities there are great. It would be such a loss to have them go.

It’s a lovely place to just chill, eat good food and have a drink with friends and family. The staff are really friendly and it is a great different dimension to the beach. There are things going on for all ages, it’s a unique vibe which would be really missed.
