I live so close this place is a community sanctuary for us women that need time together swimming celebrating or just being, I dance here with my husband and sit alone with my dog enjoying a coffee and feeling welcome. Taking this wonderful place away would be a very sad day

I attend Bournemouth run club here every Sunday. We are such a community here and we bond and make friends over a coffee at sobo. It would be a huge loss without sobo and it would be so upsetting to the community to see it go.

I use SOBO all year round. It has become the jewel in Bournemouths crown.Having live in this areas for 30 years, I can confidently say it is the most significant improvement to the area in that time, particularly in contrast to the IMAX project, which was also endorsed by BCP but ultimately proved to be unsuccessful.It is difficult has a local resident to understand the reasoning behind this decision that risks undermining something so valuable to the local community.

I absolutely love sobo beach. As do my whole family , we go there every weekend , we watch the children play on the beach and everytime bump into somebody we know. It’s an incredible place which won’t be able to be matched. It’s part of our lives !

We need somewhere at this end of the prom for drinks/food/meeting friends. When the Bistro closed several years ago, we were left with nowhere for 8 months and it didn't need to have been that way. I can't believe the council are going to let the same thing happen again. It's a great place for local community groups to meet too - what's going to happen to them?

it is a much needed place for people to meet, enjoy the beach, community, music and share a time together. A thriving hub for the Southbourne and wider area and should be heralded as a success - not torn down and fixed when it was never broken in the first place.

I love this place and my family do aswell.It really has made me go to the beach more ! Great atmosphere such a wonderful community space . In the winter to as you can grab a hot drink under cover all warm and cosy and take in our beautiful surroundings.
