I live 5 minutes away and use this regularly and it has changed the area. To award this to someone else and have the site empty for months would be devastating.

I walk along the prom most days of the year, having a year round bar to stop at for a swift pint or hot drink to watch the world go by, listen to the sea and meet friends is needed and Sobo beach is fantastic.

I holiday in Southbourne twice a year and visit sobo for great events and to feel part of the community. Their wellness activities are really important to me. There is no place like it.

It's a welcoming space for locals and visitors with a unique atmosphere. Very well run and as a frequent visitor its clearly been well thought out and is exactly what is needed there. It's somewhere I always recommend to friends. Please don't change such a special offering and community.

I cycle down to sobo as its destination now and a quirky place, the councils lack of foresight could could destroy this place.

SOBO is used all year round by people of all ages. It caters to so many different clubs and groups with its relaxing environment. It has become a real hub of Southbourne life!

Only nice place to go on the beach for drinks/food. Really nice vibe and everything nice in Bournemouth is disappearing so this doesn’t suprise me but would be a massive shame to let this one go!!!

I regularly travel from Highcliffe either by car, bus or cycle and Sobo beach is the ideal location to stop fro a drink and or food and enjoy the beach. It has the ideal formula with a laid back approach which is best for a beach bar, and to replace it with another expensive restaurant would be detrimental to the area.
