  This is personal to both me and my daughter. I studied at Bournemouth University, and my daughter is now a student at AECC. I regularly return to Bournemouth and visit SOBO Beach myself. My connection to the town spans two generations, and this is a place we both value. For my daughter, SOBO provides real solace alongside university life. She belongs to a community running club which operates from the venue and gathers there after its runs throughout the year.

  Open all year round its a good meeting place but also a good stop midway on a walk for me.. Continuity is the key ... i really missed the facility when Bistro on the Beach closed and there was nothing for months, over a year I think.

  We are local and love walking here all year round. We love this cafe and do not want it to be replaced. It is unique and adds character to the sea front. We certainly would not want an upmarket, expensive restaurant to take its place.
